Employers worldwide use the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) to determine who can communicate effectively in the international workplace.

The TOEIC, produced by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), is a test of English proficiency used to measure workplace language skills for non-native speakers. A TOEIC score is often required by employers, companies, governments, and other organizations to certify the English language level of employees or potential employees.

BridgeEnglish is an official testing center for the Open TOEIC test that is offered nationally one Saturday per month. Your advisor will be happy to help you apply for that online, or you can get more information on how to register for the TOEIC at the ETS website.

TOEIC Preparation Course

BridgeEnglish also offers a TOEIC Preparation Program using curriculum uniquely designed to prepare students for this test, especially as students enter upper-level classes where Business English is one of the topics offered. Realistic work in listening, speaking, vocabulary, and structure are an ideal approach to preparing for success in the TOEIC. A minimum of 4 students are required to run TOEIC Prep classes, so inquire at 303-945-2236 for details. Private classes in TOEIC preparation are also available from specialized teachers.
